Sherry-lee is one of my favourite WeightChoice clients and now a friend. Really she ate quite healthily but her “downfall” if you like, was that even after a perfectly great evening meal, she would feel compelled to eat something sweet.
It wasn’t that she was hungry at all – it was just a feeling that came over her and drove her to the fridge or pantry to get a “sweetie”. That’s known as a conditioned response, and is very, very easy to get free of!
It used to be thought that these types of issues took intense discipline and a lot of time to get over. We now know that nothing could be further from the truth. Without even trying, we can free people from these habits in minutes, permanently, so they never have to fight their own desires ever again.
